E-DC-5BA : USB Power & Charge cord for Yaesu, Vertex, & Standard Horizon radios. Replaces DC cables such as Yaseu & Vertex E-DC-5B, SDD-13, SDD-12, E-DC-19, etc. INPUT: USB 5VDC 1.0-2.4A. Output: 12VDC, 0.4-1A.

The USB-DC-5B can be used several ways:

(1) Plug into radio. Provides power for operating the radio (full Rx & low Watt Tx), and for charging batteries thru the radio.
